I just wanted to post an update about the Open House lunch. The response for providing food for the lunch has been overwhelming. Thank you to all that are donating your time, food or money to the cause. I couldn't do it without your help. I know the members will love it and the new recruits will be impressed by a nice warm lunch provided to them at no cost. The recruitment chair, Chris Kilian, has told me that there is a huge response to our recruiting efforts this season. There's a great response from the band show booths and tons of people have been signing up on our website. We expect a nice turn out for the Open House. So come out, see some of the old gang, it should be a great time! Please be reminded that there is an online form to fill out for contact information on the alumni page. You'll receive Bushwacker news updates from me via email once a month (give or take a couple), this way you can keep in touch with what is happening with the corps, so please include your email address. I'd like to even start a listing of alumni contacts so some of you that used to march together can stay in touch. I'd love to get some feed back on this and see if it's something that you'd like to do. I'd like to thank Ray Brunner, for helping me out in this Open House project. He's really grabbed many of the "early years" alumni to help out. I really appreciate all of you lending a hand and I look forward to meeting some of you for the first time. Previous Alumni Updates
