Jesus Rubin Cornier - Fundraising/Donations Coordinator

Jesus Rubin Cornier is the Fundraising Coordinator for the Bushwackers Drum and Bugle Corps. After 22 years of playing saxophone, 5 years of which were spent with the Rutgers University Marching Band, Rubin decided to pick up a brass instrument (trumpet) and march again, this time as a Bushwacker.

During his time at Rutgers University, Mr. Cornier held various leadership positions in Mu Upsilon Alpha, University Senate, and Engineering Governing Council (on both the finance committee and as President). Rubin also held multiple positions in the Society of Hispanic Engineers, including President, where he wrote fundraising proposals and solicited corporations for projects ranging from high school outreach programs (which cost several thousands of dollars) to a regional conference for over 200 students from the Northeast (over $50,000). In his spare time he found some time to squeak out a B.S. in Ceramic Engineering too.

Currently Rubin lives in Allentown, PA where he owns and operates Little Oaks Child Care out of his home while raising his three sons, Jeremy, Nathaniel and Andrew. He has also helped to raise money for local organizations from the Swain School to the Pennsylvania Youth Ballet.
