Kevin first became a Bushwacker in 1997 and has been active from day one in contributing his expertise in graphics development, video production, and web design to fill the organization's needs. Owner of Blackwood Motion Graphics, Inc., Kevin has been producing educational media for over 15 years and has received the honor of Producer Magazine's Top 100 Producers twice in the past eight years. He is also a partner in Cadence Artistic Group developing learning products for the marching arts.

In 2009 Kevin celebrated his 40th anniversary since entering the drum corps activity in the late 60's. Married with two children, Kevin is the Director and Music Arranger for Windsor Regiment Drum & Bugle Corps and Mini Corps in West Windsor, NJ. He is also the President of Xtreme Drum Corps, Inc., a non-profit performing arts organization dedicated to preserving the activity of drum & bugle corps. The group has been very active in providing the Bushwackers better rehearsal facilities for the 2010 season.

Kevin's experience in drum corps includes; Skylarks Drum & Bugle Corps (Hellertown, PA), Chessmen (Easton, PA), Regency One (Allentown, PA) , Garfield Cadets (Garfield, NJ), Bridgemen (Bayonne, NJ), Bushwackers (Harrison, NJ), Bridgemen Alumni Corps (Bayonne, NJ), Reilly Raiders Alumni Corps (Willow Grove, PA), Capital Brass Mini Corps (Albany, NY), and Windsor Regiment (West Windsor, NJ).
