DARRELL WOODLIFF JOINS TEAM AS COLOR GUARD CAPTION HEAD
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE:

West Windsor , NJ - February 8, 2010 - The Bushwackers Drum & Bugle Corps is pleased to announce the return of Darrell Woodliff to the corps as the new Color Guard Caption Head.

Darrell was a performing member of the corps from 1988-2000, during which time the corps won 5 DCA World Championships and 3 color guard championships. He served as the color guard captain from 1996-2000 and won several DCA Individual titles during his time with the corps. Since then he has won multiple championships with the Brigadiers and has marched in and taught many successful winterguards.

"We are absolutely thrilled to have Darrell on the team," said staff coordinator Chris Kilian. "Having marched a number of years with him I was always amazed by his talent, but also his approachability and his positive vibe and energy. It's great to have him back home and we're all looking forward to working with him."

Additionally, the corps welcomes back Tara Girovasi-Foley as a Color Guard Instructor. Tara is another alumnus of the corps, marching in the color guard in the mid 1990's. She currently teaches with Darrell at Point Pleasant Boro HS and is a great motivator and a skilled technician. The corps is happy to have her on the team as well.

The Bushwackers will be hosting a rehearsal weekend February 27-28 in Central New Jersey. Our color guard will join us on Sunday the 28th! We're still accepting members in all sections, so if you're interested fill out our Info Form on the website or email us at membership@bushwackers.org.
