Bushwackers Open House a HUGE success with biggest turnout ever!

Saturday November 26th 2005 will be remembered in Bushwacker history as not only the beginning of the corps 25th anniversary season, But also for the largest audition turnout EVER in Bushwacker history.

The doors opened at 11 am and by the time registration and lunch were over, it was standing room only while the official greetings and staff introductions took place.

After watching a DVD recap of the 2005 season, Show coordinator Jim Dugan announced the show for 2006. This year the Bushwackers find it only fitting to honor our first 25 years by presenting a totally new show showcasing the 3 musical stages of the corps during these past 25 years, Jazz, Broadway, and Symphonic.

"Fanfare for the New" by Hugo Montenegro, Andrew Lloyd Webber's "Perfect Year" from the musical Sunset Boulevard, And Ron Nelsons "Rocky Point Holiday" will help the corps celebrate its 25th season and is sure to entertain fans wherever the corps performs.

The corps then split up into sections for rehearsal. The turnout for all 3 sections was phenomenal. Over 60 brass, 50+ percussionists and a guard of 30 filled the atrium building with the sounds of drum corps.

The Bushwackers next rehearsal camp is Dec 10th and 11th in Garfield NJ.
