For Immediate Release Wednesday, April 9, 2003 PR@Bushwackers.org 215-292-1522 http://www.Bushwackers.org The Bushwackers will be wearing Magenta and Blue in 2003!The Bushwackers are very proud of our heritage and would like to go back to some of those ideas. We have enjoyed the versatility of the black uniforms as it has allowed us to be able to change the look slightly every year to fit the theme of our show. However, we would like to make the corps look more professional and more traditional. We have always kept the Magenta and Blue in our hearts. But now, as a corps, we would like to go back to being the proud wearers of the Corps' colors. I hope you like the new version, it's a little of the old mixed in with a new idea, and we will actually be using true magenta and a darker blue. We will be taking donations through the "Bushbackers" section of our website. We're looking to spend thousands of dollars in upgrades this summer (uniforms, percussion, guard and brass equipment). Any donation would be appreciated deeply. Since the Bushwackers is a not-for-profit organization, any donations are tax-deductable. The corps will send a letter to all donors stating your donation amount in a non-for-profit letter for tax purposes.
