News and AnnouncementsFor Immediate Release Tuesday, September 27, 2004 215-292-1522 Myron Rosander Returns as Drill Designer for 2005The Bushwackers are proud to announce that Myron Rosander will return as our drill designer for the 2005 season!! 2005 will be Myron's third year designing the drill for the Bushwackers. Myron Rosander is currently visual designer and visual caption head for the six-time DCI World Champion Santa Clara Vanguard (SCV) Drum and Bugle Corps of Santa Clara, CA. He has been a member of the SCV staff since 1985 as well as the corps' principal designer from 1987 to the present. He performed as a member of the SCV horn line from 1976 through 1980. Rosander's visual design/consultant career also includes several highly regarded marching bands, including Grants Pass High School of Grants Pass, OR; Lawrence Central High School of Indianapolis, IN; Valley View High School of Moreno Valley, CA; Union High School of Tulsa, OK; and the Kamehameha Schools of Honolulu, HI. He is also an active clinician and adjudicator, having participated in contests all over the US and Canada for the past 15 years. Myron is the author of design methodology articles that have appeared in such national publications as Today's Music Educator and The Instrumentalist. In 1998 and 1999 Rosander was the judging coordinator for the NWMBC, the marching band circuit serving the Pacific Northwest region. Recently, Myron was voted to serve on the DCI Task Force, which acts as liaison between the adjudication and instructional components of DCI. Rosander was the 2000 recipient of the "Gail Royer Memorial Vanguard of the Year Award", and is in his 23rd year of involvement with the SCV organization. Welcome back, Myron!!
