Bushwackers Staff Update

The Bushwackers are happy to announce a few additions to the staff.

Pat Dougherty has been a soprano soloist with the Crossmen and Blue Devils and has also performed with BLAST. He has also been on the staff of The Crossmen and most recently Carolina Crown. Pat lives on Long Island. Pat will be a welcomed addition to our already awesome brass staff.

Pat Vasquez started his drumming career with the Skyliners before heading off to the Reading Buccaneers and The Toledo Glassmen. He has spent time on the Crossmen staff as a snare tech recently as well as teaching numerous high school programs. Pat will be the snare tech at Bush for the 2005 season. We are looking forward to Pat's vast experience and attention to detail as our drumline makes another step forward in 2005.Pat lives in Parsippany, New Jersey.

Joe Itkor has been promoted to the pit arranger/pit caption head position. We all know of Joe's capabilities and most importantly his love for the corps. We all welcome Joe in his new position on staff.

Scott Brown will serve as Joe Exley's right hand man on the brass staff as assistant caption head. Scott's capabilities were proven in 2004 and we all welcome him in his expanded role for the 2005 season.

And last but not least, Al Chez will spend some time with the brass line in 2005 according to Joe Exley. Al is the trumpet player on "The Late Night with David Lettermen Show" as well as a Bush alumnus and drum corps legend. Al also teaches at The Crossmen.

We have a few more names to add before the open house so keep your eyes peeled for future announcements.
