The Bushwackers announce the return of Joe Itkor to the Bushwackers

Joe Itkor - Front Ensemble Coordinator, Arranger and Instructor

Joe has been a high school band director for more than a decade; and has performed with and instructed some of the country's most elite marching units. His performance credits over the past 25 years include the Madison Scouts drum and bugle corps, Threshold Winter Guard, and several DCA drum and bugle corps. He has been with the Bushwackers since 1989, winning several DCA championships during his tenure with the corps.

Joe is also a music and percussion judge for the National Judges Association and Tournament of Bands. He was a DCA judge from 1996 through 2000. His instructional experience includes more than 40 high school bands and drum corps throughout the United States and Europe. Joe is also a highly respected clinician and is sponsored by Innovative Percussion. He is a graduate of West Chester University and has a Master’s Degree in School Administration from Montclair State University. Joe Currently resides in Hackettstown, NJ with his wife and two beautiful daughters.
