Jerome Kimbrough - Visual Instructor
Jerome Kimbrough's drumcorps career started at age 12 in the Bayonne Kidets, the feeder corp for the Bridgemen. After a year and a half, he moved up to the Bridgemen, where he marched until 1985. In 1983, the horn instructor of the newly formed Bushwackers, asked two or three horn players he knew from the area, to fill a few open horn spots after DCI was over. Thats when Jerome met Bush for the first time. He filled in spots for several years. 1983, 84, 85, and 87. In 1986-87, he was a member of the then Garfield Cadets, as well as a culinary student at Johnson and Wales University of Providence, RI. In 1988 Jerome became a full time member of the corps,and has been either marching or helping out ever since. His teaching credits include various area High school band technique programs, as well as the Bushwackers and the NY Lancers. |
