Woody is a long time member of the Bushwackers Drum and Bugle Corps and the former percussion arranger for the Jersey Surf Drum and Bugle Corps. He arranged for the Jersey Surf from 1999-2004.

Woody has also arranged for the group I Atlantic Coast Champion, Henderson Marching Band and Hammonton High School Marching Band. In 1995, Woody served as the director for the 1995 WGI Scholastic World Champion, Hatboro-Horsham High School.

He also served as the director and arranger for the two time WGI PIO finalist, Riptide. He is currently on staff with United Percussion and is their composer.
